Richard Semetulskis  Senior Director Analytics and  IT Practice Development
 

Rich leads the analytics line of business and IT risk and internal controls function.  Rich has over 25 years of IT applications development and project management experience in corporate and government  areas. He has held a variety of positions including IT Group Leader, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Systems Development Manager and Applications Consultant.  He has experience in leading a variety of IT related projects including  enterprise dealer business systems, business intelligence systems projects in financial subject areas using multidimensional OLAP, technology, relational technology and data warehouse concepts leveraging project management best practices.

Prior to joining Galvan, Rich was Group Leader  and Senior IT Manager Enterprise Applications for an automotive manufacturing firm and defense contractor where he led a project for a world-wide dealer portal.  Prior to that role Rich was a Project Management Consultant for the  US Small Business Administration who conducted assessment of top systems projects, mentored project managers on best practices, guided training for PMP certification and PMO start-up and created conducted custom project management training.  Prior to that Rich, as Project  Director , directed and managed business intelligence projects with a focus on Oracle (formerly Hyperion) OLAP technology often times focusing on financial planning and budgeting.  Prior to that role, Rich was Systems Development Manager for a major media company who led the implementation of an executive information system for 125 executives and led the project to implement a direct marketing database system for 1 million subscribers and led the establishment of database technical infrastructure winning awards in management and development.

Rich earned a Masters in Business Administration in International Finance from DePaul University. Rich is a PMP and is certified in ITILv3 Foundation and, as an Adjunct Professor, teaches project management part-time.
